We at TIPSS understand the difficulties that young aspiring football players are experiencing.

It is, for this reason, that we are prepared to apply our life skills and knowledge to bridge the gaps that these young players are faced with.

By creating a mental, physical, and, disciplined program that will facilitate these players with the tools and expertise we at TIPSS host in our TIPSS Program.

Our unique program has been created to nurture all our athletes with hope, confidence and willingness.

The problem

The large gap between the quality of football in Europe compared to South Africa, has to do with the late development of youngsters.

Lack Of quality resources, knowledge, willingness to nurture our youth is what sets Europe apart from us.

The Solution

Our solution to the problem is to create a program and philosophy that focuses on developing our athletes at a young age. Giving them everything needed to reach their prime performance earlier in their careers

Meet our

Program

Director

Kaelin Karriem is a professional football player with more than 16 years of experience in the sports industry. He has an RCLFA introductory coaching license and is a brand ambassador for Pro Sports Center and Kero Sportswear Store.

Some of his highlights include travelling and playing abroad in Europe for professional-level football teams, playing semi-pro football for teams in 4 provinces of South Africa, and founding the TIPSS Training – a program designed for footballers with a focus on the 5 fundamental areas of the game.

Technique

Technique in football is the basis of playing the game, it is a means to an end. (Definition: the body’s mechanical execution to affect the ball.

It refers to: Passing and receiving, Dribbling and tapping, 1st Touch control Shooting and heading , Tackling and defending

Insight

insight in football has to do with the mental aspect of the game. Football IQ (Definition: The capacity to gain an accurate and deep understanding of football). It refers to: Formations, Positioning, Finding through pass (windows), Stopping counter attacks ( prediction),  as well as  Pressure ( high/Low)

Personality

Personality is having unique features and qualities that helps footballers excel. ( Definition: The combination of characteristics that form an individual’s distinctive character.

Speed

Speed is the foundation that holds the other skills together to make a successful player and team. (Definition: The time rate at a player is moving along a path). It refers to : Pure speed, Technical speed, reaction speed, Mental Speed.

Stamina

Stamina is a player’s endurance, having a high level of stamina helps players to endure tiredness, stress and discomfort when playing a game. (Definition: The ability to sustain prolonged physical and mental effort) It refers to reduced fatigue and exhaustion, drawing on energy reserves to pull off a good performance whenever the game gets intense.

Our target audience

Youth

Young athletes from the age of 8 to 18 looking to develop into professional football players.

Trialist

Any athlete (8-25) that has a trial or assessment coming up and needs assistance to prepare for it using the TIPSS program
